Equine Rescue and rehoming is a registered not for profit organisation (Number: 06908333)
They are dedicated to horses in need. They actively seek to place horses in danger of needless slaughter into loving homes. They have re-homed over 100 horses just this year and many more besides. It it totally run by volunteers who all have job’s, family’s and horse’s of there own.
The work they do is amazing, they would be totally worth winners of this award and it would give great publicity to the tireless work they do.

Founder:Rebecca Menz
Director:Emma Chittenden
E.R.R Managers: Bev Street & Jill Melia
Rescue Manager: Bec Young

I would like to nominate Equine Rescue & Rehoming for their outstanding efforts in rescuing so many horses from slaughter, placing those in need of rehabilitation in knowledgeable foster homes & rehoming these horses all over the UK. ERR is a non profit making organisation reliant entirely upon donated funds.

I would like to nominate Rebecca Menz of Equine Rescue and Rehoming. She has facilitated the rehoming of hundreds of unwanted horses over the last few years. She works tirelessly with to ensure that horses do not suffer unnecessarily in the hands of dealers and the dreaded ‘Meat Man’. She has a nationwide network of voluntary foster carers who look after these rejected equines until they can be rehomed – hopefully to their forever homes – under contract and subject to vetting of potential homes.
Winning this award would bring vital publicity to Rebecca and E.R.R. and help to further strengthen the support she has across the UK and Ireland, allowing more beautiful horses to be saved from slow starvation and eventual slaughter.
